Reptiles

Nutrition-related disorders and diseases are common in a variety of reptiles. The veterinary team can help you avoid these problems by going through current history and providing augmentations better suited for your unique reptile. Clients are talked through recommendations as well as assisted with reliable resources. Call us to set up a nutritional and husbandry consultation, so we can discuss how to help keep your reptile healthy.

We also offer an initial checkup for new reptile owners to help identify current or potential medical problems and, if necessary, begin treatment. In addition, we can provide you with information on appropriate enclosures, environmental requirements, sanitation, and disease prevention.

Contact us if your reptile:

  • Has been acting lethargic, reluctant to move, or appendages start falling off
  • Has any irregular discoloration to body or appendages
  • Has difficulty shedding
  • Has decreased or lack of appetite
  • Has any ocular or nasal discharge
  • Has diarrhea, parasites, or regurgitation
  • Has had any changes to behavior – reptiles tend to hide illnesses for as long as possible due to prey instincts
