Makenzie joined the All Cypress Veterinary Hospital team in December 2024, bringing a lifelong passion for animals and hands-on experience to her role. A graduate of Hallsville High School in May 2024, she has been dedicated to animal care since childhood. Her love for animals began early, from helping her grandparents’ work cows in the pasture, and grew further through her experiences at school’s Western Days event in 3rd grade.
Since 8th grade, Makenzie has pursued courses to expand her knowledge of animal care and is excited to continue her education in veterinary medicine. She finds great joy in learning new skills daily while contributing to the clinic’s work.
Outside of her professional life, Makenzie enjoys reading, camping, and horseback riding. Her favorite activities include going on trail rides with her family and gathering around a bonfire on chilly nights. She is the proud owner of a horse named Venom, who accompanies her on her equestrian adventures.
